CoBI Awards Money for Important Research
The Council on Brain Injury recently awarded the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) a grant to help fund research on how well brain injury professionals communicate important information to individuals with brain injuries and their families. Specifically, the research will look at whether or not individuals and families felt they got enough and the right kind of information about recovery and prognosis.
The study will be run by the Prognosis Task Force of. ACRM’s Brain Injury Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group (BI-ISIG). Lead researchers are Rosette Biester, Ph.D. and Dave Krych, M.A., CCC-SLP. If you are interested in more information, complete the “Contact Us” box on this website.
